DS TECHEETAH announces business partnership and agency relationship with Rakuten Sports

Reigning ABB FIA Formula E Champion DS TECHEETAH announced today a new strategic partnership with Rakuten Sports, a Rakuten Group service that focuses on creating partnerships built on shared values with professional sports teams, athletes, brands and rights-holders. The Rakuten Group offers a wide variety of more than 70 services for consumers and businesses across e-commerce, fintech, communications, digital content and more. With this partnership Rakuten Sports becomes an agency on record for the DS TECHEETAH team, representing the team’s commercial interests in key territories across the globe.

 

DS TECHEETAH’s multi-season agreement with Rakuten, a global innovation leader, highlights the team’s continued drive to build and embrace consumer-focused partnerships and is a key element of the team’s future business strategy. Building on the recent announcement of the new partnership with Rakuten Viber, DS TECHEETAH recognizes that such multi-level alliances are a positive step for the overall growth of the sport.

From the Berlin ePrix 2019/20 Formula E Season onwards, Rakuten Sports branding will be present in prominent locations on the DS E-TENSE FE20 and throughout the team environment.
